I Blew It!

Last weekend we attended a family gathering.  Before lunch, my “uncle-in-law” and I were asked if one of us would pray.  I said I’d rather he did, and he thought I should.  In the end, we ended up doing a unison prayer together that everyone knew.  That was ok, but my response bothered me. These prophets were considered to be “HERALDS”. What is a herald? A herald can be defined.. read more →

“And he said: ‘Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.’”  Matthew 18:3 These words have been on my mind lately.  My nine year old daughter received a Bible for Christmas and has been reading it every day…last I heard she was up.. read more →

Getting Started

What is the Church? Have you given much thought to that question?  Is it a place reserved for special occasions like weddings, funerals, Christmas or Easter?  Maybe it’s the building down the street with a steeple?  Perhaps it’s a club to which people belong?  While a church building is certainly a good place to have.. read more →
