About Us
Be the Church was started by Beth & Matt Schlueter to help make Christ’s church in America was it was intended to be… Contagious!
Our Purpose & Mission
More and more, mainline churches are plateauing and declining. They have turned into just another thing to do on a Sunday morning, if someone has the time. They have fallen away from actually doing the work Jesus called us to do, to “go and make disciples of all the nations” (Matthew 28:19a).
Be the Church exists with a purpose of inspiring individuals & congregations to be the Church that Jesus intended… a Church that’s contagious! We have a mission to re-energize and invigorate Christ’s Church in America.
What’s the Plan?
We intend to work with church leadership and congregations to help ignite a spark that may have been lost, to help them be able to connect with the very people Jesus intends for them to reach in their communities. We wish to help these groups to learn to look outward instead of inward.
We have accepted this massive call, and are still in constant prayer about next steps, though it is coming together slowly. Please sign up for our email list and keep an eye on our facebook page for updates.
Finally, watch our Events page to see if we’ll be in your area!
